Resume:

To whom it may concern:

Hello, my name is Markose Butler and I’m excited to apply to this position! Having been involved in the social sciences my whole academic life, I have done extensive research and writing on markets, economic development, foreign and domestic policy, comparative politics, and legal issues. I currently hold an International Studies master’s degree from the University of San Francisco and two BAs in International Relations and Government, with a Spanish minor, and a European Studies certificate from the University of Texas- Austin.

I believe I am a quality candidate for this position because I have a lot of experience with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Apple Productivity Suites. Having worked multiple research internships, I know how to use research databases like EBSCO, the BEA and BLS databanks, and have a basic understanding of STATA and ArcGIS software. I understand the research process and am able to translate data into narrative due to my experience writing a senior capstone thesis during undergrad as well as a master’s thesis. Additionally, because I am fluent in Spanish, the breadth of resources at my disposal is much greater. Finally, I am able to learn new concepts and programs quickly.

Please find my resume below, I would be more than happy to conduct an interview and/or provide you with any additional information. I can be reached at anytime Monday to Friday on my cellphone at 830-***-**** and am available immediately. Thank you for considering my application.

Regards,

Markose Butler
