I have broad experience in the visualization and conceptualization of new drilling opportunities and work-over candidates, additional generation and identification of leads and prospects, evaluation of petroleum system, Project Management-visualization, conceptualization, formulation, planning, control, evaluation and optimization of prospecting oil & gas projects. Strategies designs and exploration plans. Economic evaluation, risk assessment and uncertainty management of new projects, workover & well services. Also involves the use of specialized oilfield, technical software and simulators.

November 2014 to November 2015

Schlumberger Perú (Improved Oil Recovery Project in Z-2B Concession Fields at Savia Perú S.A.)

Senior Reservoir & Production Engineer assigned to the Workover & Well Services Group with responsibilities:

Carry out reservoir studies and perform reservoir engineering functions including: Decline Curve Analysis, Material balance, pressure transient analysis, nodal analysis and review historical database of production-pressure for over 350 wells belong to Z-2B block

Analysis and diagnosis different solutions for Eocene age wells with low permeability and poor productivity to detect early opportunities with the objective to generate a workover and well services schedule, OFM PASS procedures was applied to detect better zones and candidates to intervention (new zones, hydraulic fracturing and re-fracturing, isolate zones). Also evaluate feasibility to incorporate new technologies techniques for stimulation focus to achieve oil rate increase by well. Additionally support FDP team with production profiles and economic scenarios.

September 2012 to October 2014

Schlumberger México (SPM Panuco Project, Villahermosa, Tabasco, México)

Senior Reservoir & Production Engineer (Technology Production Group)

In this project which has about 100 hundred years of production history and more than 2000 wells drilled, I was in charge of reviewing the wells mechanical history in order to validate: the original reservoir conditions identify possible compartments and understand the dynamic behavior of them. Also I was involved in the process of infill drilling locations identification and validation as part of a multidisciplinary and integrated team.

Additionally I worked as a Development Planning and Production Engineer. I was capable of putting all activities in the SPM approved application 3Esi.manage, and create production profiles as wells, CAPEX and OPEX profiles, that feed into Peep and allow economic evaluations. Also I was involved in Technology Team and production surveillance in order to detect production losses due different issues that could be preventive and planning the implementation of new technology that can be applied. Also worked with the field engineering team, generating and running deterministic sceneries for Field Development Plan.

August 2012

Schlumberger México (IPM Mesozoico Project, Villahermosa, Tabasco, México)

Senior Reservoir & Production Engineer for a couple of weeks, I have helped to Pre-Drill Team work at for Alliance Mesozoico Project for IPM Schlumberger segment in Villahermosa, México.

My contribution was to support the pre drill team with production and reservoir perspectives (production and pressure analysis, calculate the initial oil rate expected, EUR forecasting using OFM. For each well a production analysis was done as a plus of the entire pre drill analysis. I actively participated in the presentation of the analysis for IPM team.

July 2011 to August 2012

Schlumberger México (Pemex Veracruz Asset, Veracruz, México)

Project Leader and technical support as a Senior Reservoir & Production Engineer at Perdiz & Angostura Fields, Veracruz, Mexico (Improve Oil Recovery Project).

My main role as a Reservoir and Production Engineer inside the team was estimated the production potential for the analyzed wells and deliver recommendations for production optimization. For each well a final report was generated and discussed with the client. A quick look methodology was implemented in order to optimize the time for well diagnosis.

May to June 2011

Schlumberger México (SPM Segment, Mexico City, México)

Technical support as a Senior Reservoir & Production Engineer, my main activities was reviewed, evaluation and analysis of opportunities on the mature field such as El Golpe, Carrizo, Santuario, Otates and Sanchez Magallanes, using OFM Pass Methodology as a part of a workflow to identify different solutions and the same time active interaction with other disciplines such as Geology, Petrophysicist and Reservoir Simulation in order to delivery an integral recommendation and guarantee the successful and minimize the risk. At the end of the day, the main purpose of these activities and analysis was created different exploitation scenarios to be evaluated economically; those results help to Schlumberger to will participate in the Mature Fields tenders in Mexico.

November 2010 March 2011

Schlumberger México (Iberoamericana de Hidrocarburos, S.A., Monterrey, México)

Technical support as a Reservoir & Production Engineer as a part of activities belonging to Integrated Reservoir Characterization Study conducted for Nejo Field at Burgos Integral Asset.

I was assigned with the main responsibility to build a Nodal Analysis Models for more than 95 wells with the propose to get from Pipesim platform a VPF tables for Reservoir Simulation team to makes some runs into Eclipse Model. Additionally I was supporting to Nejo Reservoir team with Nodal Analysis Model for new wells drilled and production completion testers.

On the other hand I was involved gave support as a Reservoir & Production Engineer to Schlumberger Well Services segment by looking for well candidates to stimulation treatments, analyzed, evaluated and designed stimulation jobs (Hydraulic Fracturing) for many wells. In order to achieve these analyses I use OFM PASS procedures and Pipesim software to estimate the production gas rate expected. Another contribution was a database, which was created with the data of pre and post jobs in order to do a treatment evaluation and optimize the volume of the systems to be used. This data base works to evaluate the better combination of stimulation systems based on the post job evaluation taking in account volumes used, production data and reservoir parameters, with the main purpose to optimize the performance and get improvements in the design of the next stimulation treatments to be executed.

November 2006 to November 2010

Schlumberger México (Pemex North Asset, Reynosa, Tamaulipas, México)

Technical support as a Reservoir & Production Engineer at Burgos Integral Asset, specifically in the west and east area of Burgos Asset in Cuitlahuac, Santa Rosalia-Mojarreñas and Velero-Reno Fields, Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Reservoir & Production Engineer involve on a Workover Project for Pemex E&P North Region. Provide to the client technical expertise and knowledge about productivity workflow (using OFM PASS and different procedures to identify well opportunities), additional fully interaction with others disciplines as Geology and Petrophysicist in order to achieve an integral solution and guarantee the successful of the final recommendation.
