Vision based real-time driver fatigue detection system for efficient vehicle control.
There are a number of road accidents due to human error. Main reason being fatigue, low attention level, sleeplessness etc. There have been a number of solutions such as airbags, seatbelts, crashworthy body structures etc. But none of them have helped in preventing accidents for that active safety systems are deployed. Active safety system continuously monitors the state of the driver and these systems give the alert to the driver when the driver is in the fatigue state. One of them being ‘Real Time Driver Fatigue Detection System’. Hence this system will be helpful in preventing road accidents.
