In the role of agency auditor, I was responsible for on-site title agency review that consisted of auditing the agent’s escrow files, bank accounts and title files. Specifically, I audited agents to ensure that escrow funds were continuously held in a fiduciary and legal capacity, that bank accounts were properly reconciled in a timely manner, and that the agent’s title files met Old Republic’s underwriting standards. Finally, my position demanded collaborative work efforts with Old Republic co-workers and superiors as well as with Old Republic title agents and agency staffs.

Appointed by the Tuscarawas County Commissioners, I took an oath of office and joined the ADAMHS Board as a Board Member in March of 2015. The ADAMHS Board is division of County government to plan, develop and fund networks of substance abuse treatment and prevention services within Tuscarawas and Carroll Counties. The Board carries out its mission primarily through annual service contracts with community-based service providers. A Board Member is responsible for attending all Board meetings and must act prudently in all votes, actions, and decisions. Finally, as a member of the Levy Committee, I am deeply involved in getting the levy issue on the election ballot and passed to ensure the continued local funding of the ADAMHS Board.

Finally, as a member of the Finance Committee, was responsible for the management of the Humane Society’s budget and the organization’s continued solvency.
