- Synthesize Polyurethane and Polyacrylonitrile membranes used membrane-based separation process.

- Modeled the pervaporation experimental results with empirical and semi-empirical approaches by developing advanced mass transport equations.

- Modeled the pervaporation unit with advanced software to simulate / optimize the MTBE hybrid plant. University Research Project, May 2013 – August 2013

- Developed an advanced multi input- multi output (MIMO) advanced control system to control the temperature and flow rate of the heat exchanger.

University Research Project Team Lead, April 2013 – June 2013

- Led a team of 5 students for a project of reduction of pollutants in Italian Oil Refineries.

- University Project linked with Italian Industries: Production of Acrolein.

- Designed all equipment for the process (pump, compressor, heat exchanger, reactor, distillation column, absorption column, flash, vessel) and the utilities necessary for Acrolein production.
