From July 1987 – October 2015 work experience includes, but is not limited to, the following:
● Scheduling all design/drafting functions required to accomplish organizational objectives within budget and time constraints. Monitoring all project schedules and taking action to meet such requirements.
● Coordination and organization of instrument and electrical project design packages. This included, reporting directly to project engineers, field work, preparation of markups from field notes, coordination with CAD drafters, compiling project bill of materials and scope of work and checking of design packages before project review and approval.
● Maintaining the drawing database and updating all drawings into company systems after the completion of project construction. This includes, but is not limited to, revising any changes to drawings during construction checking and merging drawings to maintain latest revision. Updating all files associated with projects to ensure most current information is available.
● Issuing numbers for drawings, junction boxes, cabinets, mechanical equipment, electrical equipment and tanks. In addition, issuing P&ID line numbers and maintaining database.
● Mentoring and training new and current employees on software, standards and procedures that are mandated by company.
● Maintaining all equipment used in the design drafting department.
● Producing, assembling and coordinating design packages, that have a ranged of 10 to 150 drawings, which have included 24vdc and 120vac instrument plans, wiring diagrams, schematics, schedules, instrument diagrams and installation details. In addition, the packages contain DCS and PLC system cabinet layouts, UPS power systems. Control panel layouts, motor control center elevation and one-lines, lighting plans, etc.
● Layout of P&ID’s, PFD’s, and structural details; the creation of E/I. AutoCAD menu and template; handling and processing of CAD files between in-plant and out-of-plant personnel. The organization and implementation of design drafting standards and procedures for In-plant and out-of-plant personnel.
● Design flow diagrams, semigraphics for control room, instrument location plans, foundation and structural details.
