These reservoirs are highly compartmentalized and fractured Late Proterozoic and Infracambrian carbonate stringers and ‘silicytes’ in the Ara (~Hormuz) Salt of the South Oman Salt Basin. Models include limited well data, extensive 3-D Wide Aperture seismic, petrophysics, PT and reservoir engineering data for input into ‘Eclipse’ Black Oil simulator for eventual development of Field Development and EOR program.
