* Planned and led IT Operations implementation of Change Management based on the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, resulting in 50% reduction in unplanned service outages in first six months.

* Planned and led implementation of Problem ITIL Management for the entire IT organization, resulting in improvement from 52% to 90% of IT department's success at meeting targets for resolving service issues.

* Planned and led a successful project to consolidate 350 under-utilized 'Intel' servers in the development, test, and preproduction environments. Project provided a 17:1 reduction in number of physical servers and reduced power consumption for these environments by 80%, achieving return on investment payback in 24 months.

* Led project to replace an obsolete mainframe tape silo with a virtual tape system to meet changing regulatory requirements and disaster recovery business requirements. Wrote business case and obtained executive approval for $3M investment. Project was highly successful and enabled encrypted data replication to offsite disaster recovery datacenter, thus enhancing data and business security by avoiding the transport of physical tape to off-site storage. Results included recovery of over 3,000 square feet of data center floor space, and allowed company to cancel previously planned $2.3M expansion of data center.
