One of the largest independent E&P Company in India operating in Rajasthan Onshore blocks, Deepwater South Africa, Sri-Lanka & KG Offshore, India

Presently involved in planning and preparation of Raageshwari Deep Gas development campaign in Rajasthan Onshore, India.

Involved in tendering process starting from pre-qualification, preparation of scope of work (SoW), technical evaluation for rigs & tangibles.

Involved in the preparation of basis of well design, project planning, and preparation of work program.

Job Description:

My work included:

Immediate Analysis, Interpretation & Reporting of drilling, geological & mud parameters.

Analysis & microscopic examination of drill cuttings(formation rock chips) & evaluation of hydrocarbon gas and its constituents

Analysis & interpretation of LWD Logs & Mud logs (Input, calculate and validate directional surveys)

Identification & Evaluation of Formation tops, Reservoir rock & Lithology of the formations.

Preparation of Drilling reports, end of well reports, mud logs, geological reports, hydrocarbon/gas show reports

Summer Internship & Projects:

Project 1: (Major Project)- Production Optimization of a well working on Artificial Lift.

Done at- “University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun.”

Duration: September 2010 – May 2011

Description: The Project aims at production optimization of Oil well Artificial Lift methods such as SRP & Gas Lift using Nodal Analysis. The Objective of our case study was to calculate an optimized flow rate, tubing size, injection gas rate and influence of separator pressure change on HD-10 well of Heera field, India. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of a tubing anchor in SRP wells and optimization using Dynacards and LOWIS.

Project 2: “Integrated SRP Automation & Production Optimization”

Done at - “Weatherford Oil Tools M.E. Ltd, Ahemdabad, India”

Duration: June 2010- August 2010

Description: The Project aims at optimizing production at the well, reservoir & field level of Sucker rod pump (SRP) wells of Ahemdabad asset through continuous generation, monitoring & analysis of “Dynacards” on LOWIS(Life of well intervention system) Software.

Project 3: “Integrated SRP Automation & Production Optimization”

Done at - – “Oil & Natural Gas Corporation, Ahemdabad Asset, India”

Duration: June 2010- August 2010

Description: A basic understanding of Well stimulation jobs (Hydraulic Fracturing & Acidization) accompanied by field visits. I also studied the possibility of conducting an acid fracturing job on a sandstone formation.

Description: My project covered basic aspects of Design & fabrication of drilling mud, Mud rheology, mud systems and additives.
