As Language Analyst Reporter will also be responsible for performing a variety of intelligence reporting tasks based on foreign language materials to include conducting target research and analysis, monitoring classified and open sources for useful information; compiling and integrating information; analyzing collection-related information for tasking; producing and performing quality control of reports using appropriate formats for dissemination. Additional cryptologic experience in target development; network analysis; speaker identification, language identification and document exploitation involving sorting/categorizing also important. Related language enabled analytic tasking might include oral interpretation (from target to English and vice versa); text translation (from target to English and vice versa) audio translation (from target to English) and audio transcription in the target language. Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt.

All of my schooling was in Egypt: kindergarten through College where all my studies were taught in Arabic.

Grew up as a young man speaking the native Arabic language, growing in the Arabic community between relatives, friends, neighbors, and classmates in school.

As a native speaker, I can read, write, speak, and type in the Arabic language fluently.

After living in the United States since 1979 I am still maintaining Arabic in my home where Arabic is the primary language.

Culture is also maintained as I still watch Arabic movies and other television programs.
