I am a Canadian citizen having over ** years of progressive experience in the O&G Industry. My experience involves all aspects of Mechanical Engineering including budget proposals, design, planning, procurement, execution, commissioning, maintenance and coordination of turnover to operation in turnarounds and projects ensuring completion of activities like progress reporting, completion of documentation and walk through etc. I have delivered small and medium sized projects on time and within budget.
I am looking forward to get into the HVAC field with me Design and Maintenance background. I am confident that I will be able to re-groove myself into this field and would be an asset in day to come. I have been involved in many activities at various stages of the project as listed below and would like to catch up with the building systems as well.
Lead a group of Mechanical Engineers and involved in coordinating and supporting the Process group in various activities like
i.Provide support on capital/expense projects including: AFE/scope development, equipment design and selection, equipment installation, cost tracking, construction coordination, and associated document management.
ii.Review and support the team in quality control of all documents per company / client policy and help the head of department in developing procedures.
iii.Review / develop the Man hour estimate / budget/ resource chart for the project for the Mechanical section and in coordination.
iv.Like to get involved in development of young Engineers in various aspects of industry.
v.Prepare, review, discuss and approve the specification, calculations for mechanical equipment, bid evaluation, contract evaluation, drawings approvals and deliverable packages prior to submission to Client.
vi.Attend Client meetings with Engineers to resolve issue arising during various stages of the project.
vii.Support Engineering team with option selection during various stages of the project including RFI and record as the basis of design.
viii.Check layout, calculations, plan and isometrics prior to approving and stamping for construction
Worked as a project engineer in smaller multidiscipline project. This includes develop cost estimate for the total Engineering cost, coordination with clients and vendors, organize weekly / by weekly meeting internal and client and record actions on action log, follow up with disciplines, discuss and record critical decisions on the project, follow Management of change (MOC) process and budget approval for Front End Engineering and Detailed Engineering.
Worked as commissioning engineer in small & large project including turnarounds.
Having extensive experience with Preventive and Predictive maintenance and developing strategy for Reliability of equipment including Root cause Analysis, Failure mode analysis and life cycle analysis.
I have expert level knowledge of ASME B 31.3, ASME B 31.1,
I have enough working knowledge on OSHA, NFPA, CSA etc.
I have working knowledge of HVAC Design and has attended ASHRAE training level 1 & 2 and still learning REVIT.
