Description: cFactory is TurnKey’s “script less” testing tool used for automation. It is TurnKey’s component generation product family that enables users to create automated tests without having to write VB scripts. It also allows for data-driven testing. It works in conjunction with HP QTP/UFT to capture one or more screens of an application and store them to an Object Repository (OR), which is part of a BPT Application Area file. It imports the object repository information, analyses it using rules-based technology, and then creates BPT components directly in HP QC/ALM using supplied Keyword library files. cFactory supports Oracle Applications (EBS), SAP, PeopleSoft, HTML, Java etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Acted as the Team Lead for the Automation team.

Performed Automation Testing using cFactory and UFT

Built the Automation framework from scratch.

Created custom functions using VBScript and using Descriptive Programming for UFT.

Used Data-Driven Framework for QTP Automation Scripts.

Description: When the system is implemented, the biggest challenge lies in importing the existing data in to the newly implemented ERP system. This particular project’s aim was to import the existing suppliers and its data in to the newly implemented application. It allowed the supplier data and their various attributes like Supplier Contacts, Supplier Address, Supplier Sites, Business Classification, Product and Services etc. to be imported into the application.

The project allowed the data to be imported through the backend Database and also via Cloud. Also, it provided a feasibility to update mass suppliers via cloud. This could include updating the new address or sites or even deactivating the supplier altogether.
