Currently assigned to creating proposed equipment arrangements in modular configuration. Also checking 3D models of modular process units against P&IDs. And checking initial client proposal level P&IDs. Also checking model agreement with mechanical flow diagrams. Also checking isometrics against P&IDs and insuring adequate supports are provided. Performed sales support activities including: proposed equipment arrangements, line studies and material estimates. Used NavisWorks checking 3 Merox units for Valero.

Currently assigned to collecting piping and equipment/field information for switch over from chlorine to bleach for all cooling towers at Flint Hills Resources @ Pine Bend Mn. Using CADWorX 2012 for new PTFE lined pipe to sand filters and PTFE tubing from storage tanks to cooling tower basins. Responsible for 3 CTs. Also reworking relief valve piping arrangement and adding critical check valves chop valves to some process systems.

Currently working for TDIE headquartered Houston. We are preparing Calumet Montana Refinery (located in Great Falls, Mt) for turnaround, scheduled for Sept.1st. CMR is a recent Calumet acquisition. My primary responsibilities are: Field sketching of revisions per client redlined P&ID's. Keeping drafters busy cadding iso's of proposed revisions, per my sketches. Then checking isos; making sure they comply with client standards and presenting to client for approval. Also I create full system line isos for stress engineering's analysis. Types of revisions are: New RV valve arrangements. Moving pilot and fuel gas control stations away from eight process heaters. Change out of old reactor for new; adjusting for nozzle variations in location, size and rating. Modified piping to fit the changes between existing and new air cooler exchangers with tube bank double in size.

On contract thru Aspen Tech. Staffing Created detail design of all OSBL piping for new Flare Gas Recovery Unit for ConocoPhillips, Wood River Illinois Refinery.
My responsibilities were:
1.) Layout of all OSBL piping tie-ins to new unit.
2.) Locate new rack steel for new OSBL lines.
3.) Field route over 6000ft of lines to unit battery limit tie-in points.
4.) Provide shutdown free start-up of all utilities and process lines through advance placement of double block and bleed tie in points.
5.) Use AutoCAD Ortho for all equipment arrangements and rack line placement. And used AutoCAD ISO. to provide shop fabrication isometrics of all tie ins.
6.) Locate abandoned lines for demolition, freeing up valuable space needed for new lines.
