Claims Adjusting and Reporting Engine- [CARE]

ECF (Electronic Claims File) is an internal tool used by SCIF employees to Claims Life cycle management (creation, management & settlement) and related information. ECF is an Oracle form-based application which utilizes underlying relational tables that stores claims related data and other supporting data for document management purposes and other legacy data generated from various system interfaces. ECF project is a collaboration of subsystems that support the various claims adjusting functions of a district. The major components include Claims Processing, Imaging, Letter Generation, Document Management, and System Interfaces.

This is a web application that enables Executives and Managers to schedule and manage releases, projects and allocate resources. The application facilitates the resources to submit hours for approval. Features included are calendar events, milestone management, user role based access, time tracking, cost report / invoice generation, timesheet approval process and email integration.

This is a Migration project from Oracle forms to Java, the environment is a multi-vendor with multi location.
