Field Asset protection Manager (Multi store)

Dollar Tree Stores - May 2015 to Present

Responsible for the protection of Dollar Tree product to prevent unaccounted for loss of merchandise. The position will report to the Store Manager, with dotted line reporting to the Regional Asset Protection Manager. The Asset Protection ASM maintains a presence in the store by greeting customers, patrolling high loss categories in the store, conducting audits and by observing associate and customer interactions at the register and front door, and throughout the store. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Observe customers and associates and report any suspicious activity to the Store Manager or Regional Asset Protection Manager Observe Office Area and associate break areas for any purchases without receipts. Check back rooms and perimeter doors for door seals and proper numbers on the Door Seal Log. Periodic verification of DSD Receiving Procedures and Selective Receiving Reports Observe cashiers and report any suspicious activity to the Store Manager Routinely monitor for adherence to Associate Purchase Policy - report any violations to the Store Manager or Regional Asset Protection Manager. Routinely check Back Rooms, Break Area, Lockers, Dumpsters, for signs of internal theft - report any violations or abnormal activity to Store Manager and Regional Asset Protection Manager Routinely monitor the sales floor for any suspicious activity (Candy, HBC, & Food, etc ) Independently review 30 Day Cashier Comparison Report weekly to identify suspicious activity. Report findings to Regional Asset Protection Manager. In collaboration with the Regional Asset Protection Manager, provide insight, and follow up on XBR issues within the store.
