PAYROLL & HRIS ADMINISTRATOR - PLANNED PARENTHOOD OF THE GREAT NORTHWEST AND THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS

NOVEMBER 2009 – PRESENT

Responsible for all aspects of bi-weekly payroll for 500 employees in 7 states using ADP Workforce Now/Enterprise E-time.

Manage one staff member who assists in the administrative tasks of payroll

Lead Payroll and HR through a merge with Hawaii affiliate, on-boarding staff and setting up new taxes, benefits, work weeks and PTO policy.

Create and maintain a 100% electronic payroll filing system

Maintain the HRIS platforms and integration of timekeeping, payroll and HR databases

Serve as a technical helpdesk for all 500 end users of the payroll and HRIS software

Manage garnishments and union dues related deductions, payments and reports.

Administer the reconciling and transfer of funds for our 403(b), HSA and Flex-Plan deductions

Accountable for all retirement contributions, 403(b) rollovers, distributions, hardship withdrawals

Create efficient auditing practices to ensure data integrity

Team with the budget staff to run comparison, allocation reports and salary data

Partner with IS and Clinical Services to create metrics for productivity and staff costs

Develop ad hoc reporting features to pull timekeeping data for internal and external use

Prepare bi-weekly GL entries for the accounting team

Work closely with and train managers on payroll functions and time keeping.

Analyze data to determine best practices for managers” role in time keeping.

Write training materials for new staff and new managers

Manage all staff time off according to two separate PTO policies

Serve as a member of Customer Service Action Team and as a Notary Public.

PAYROLL & ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR - CHARLES RIVER CLINICAL RESEARCH

Process bi-weekly payroll for over 250 employees

Generate accounts payable stipends for approximately 100 study participants per week

Review time entries to ensure compliance with company, federal and state guidelines
