While working on a team of other developers, was tasked with debugging a Home Insurance program written in a framework system called StingRay. Strong Jscript/JQuery/HTML/ and SQL skills were required using MSSQL-2014. Also spent two months reverse engineering their software for the purpose of proposing a .Net/C# alternate solution. Unfortunately, after successfully building a mockup and making a presentation to several board members the idea was scuttled due to higher than expected estimated costs.

Employed at Robert Half as a contractor for Leslie Controls Nov 2014-Aug 2015 (Tampa, Florida)

Built, redesigned, and recoded from scratch home grown intranet applications for Leslie Controls, which is a government contractor manufacturing valves for the United States Navy and other maritime customers throughout the world. Many of the systems they currently have are legacy systems using older technology, including Access 97 and Cold Fusion. Upgraded their systems to use .Net/C#/Java script/Visual Basic, HTML and SQL 2008. Editors used have been Visual Studio with Visual Source Safe. Although initially brought in to help out with their Active Directory migration, department heads were later convinced to allow me to rebuild three different programs within a 7-month period. Because Leslie Controls is a large machine shop building valves for the government, they had built over the years applications, which aided them with their inventory process. Although heavily invested in a well-known inventory program called Vantage, there have been many different needs over the years for inventory control and analysis, which Vantage could not provide. These three programs needed serious upgrading to improve their inventory process/and analytics and to also be Active Directory ready.

ISimply Soft, Inc. (previously known as Simple Solutions Software): 1994 – Present (Tampa, Florida)

Built from the ground up this small software company, which has been marketing recruiting and staffing software readily available on PCs, Apple Computers, and Smartphones as a true web based applicant tracking system complete with timecard processing, contact management, and job tracking and publishing.

Aside from designing and developing this product, I have managed and have overseen Marketing, Sales, and Technical Support. Aside from offering this product, I have built over the years many different websites for non-recruiting industries.

All websites have been built with a combination of Html, classic ASP, VBScript, Javascript, JQuery, Crystal Reports, and Microsoft SQL 2008. I have been in the process of converting I-SimplyRecruit to ASP.Net and C# environment. I have also been redesigning a website I previously built for a Boston recruiting firm, who have offices in Costa Rica and Panama, utilizing functions that I’ve built toggling between English and Spanish.
