Technical Experience
Lead Maintenance Technician, 3A Composites USA, Statesville, N.C. 2005-Present I am responsible for the day to day operations of the facility maintenance department. I delegate assignments. I organize repairs, shut downs, scheduling of contractors and the removal/installation of equipment. Took the department to a <8% down time efficiency rating and saw repair cost reduced by 14%, due to my mentoring and teaching the existing and new hire team members. During this time I have made many indirect improvements to equipment to produce a better product at a more effective price point.
Maintenance Tech Level A1, Hickory Springs MFG Newton N.C. 1998-2005 Maintained the operating systems of the facility from equipment to PLC’s and preformed more in-depth repairs, rewiring, modifications to programs, and also introduced into the metallurgy aspect of metal working. Became more molded into the leadership aspect and introduced to supervision. I have acquired the skills necessary to retube a boiler. Diagnosis and repair the chill water system for the facility to operate at full capacity.
