PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Logistics / Supply Chain Management

Substantial customer and supplier interaction for the purposes of negotiation, qualification, addressing quality concerns and general relationship development and maintenance.

Formulated logistics policies and procedures for a joint military operations area covering 15 African nations.

Monitored critical classes of supplies and support capabilities for the purpose of mission tasking, economy of resources and apportioning critical resources.

Assessed capabilities and limitations of assigned forces, supporting commands, agencies and in-country assets.

Managed a $7M Depot Level Repairable parts inventory with accuracy regarded as “best in Pacific Fleet” by a Type Commander Inspection Team.

Distribution / Transportation

Principal architect in the development of the concept of operations and execution of initial force flow into Iraq supporting activities that would ultimately evolve into Operation INHERENT RESOLVE.

Conducted largest redeployment and retrograde operation of a landlocked country in history supporting the Presidential-directed exit of Afghanistan by the close of 2014.

Coordinated manufacturing line allocation time between Development, Business Operations and Manufacturing groups for new product wafer fabrication.

Financial Management

Strategic Planning

Coordinated with corporate national planners to develop plant level production schedules and optimize use of finished goods distribution channels.

Key interface between all military service components and US Central Command’s logistics directorate leadership bridging the action and decision making levels on a daily basis.

In support of an enterprise realignment, charted the Reserve Component Headquarters way forward setting the stage for a geographic footprint transition from Norfolk, VA to San Diego, CA.

As BRAC Coordinator for Naval Air Station Memphis, facilitated the turnover of specified real property and facilities from Department of Defense to the city of Millington, TN.

Senior Leadership / Command / Developing Leaders

Responsible for functional area financial execution against corporate operating target – labor, material and maintenance costs.

As a member of the site senior leadership team, responsible for Quality, Safety, Continuous Improvement and Cost Reduction policy setting initiatives and oversight of execution.

Program / Project Management

Served as Advanced Capabilities Logistics Integrated Process Team Lead on a multi-billion dollar Presidential Helicopter (VH-71) program managing cost & schedule compliance and customer relations issues with Naval Air Systems Command program office.

Managed and synchronized Integrated Logistics Support, Technical Manual development and development & delivery of training for programs including: Canadian Maritime Helicopter Program ($50M), Electronic Support Measure/Radar Warning Receiver ($10M), Advanced Hawkeye Electronic Support Measure ($14M) and Light Weight Prime Mover ($6M).

In support of the Business Development team, brought Navy and Joint experience and expertise to the table serving as “Red Team” member critiquing Requests For Proposal (RFP) for Shipboard Material Movement and Littoral Combat Ship acquisitions.
