In this course project, I played a role of production planner of the “Greek Manufacturing Company” and developed a decision support system. This project enhanced my understanding of Bill of Materials, Routing, Order review and release, Priority setting, Production capacity, Variability in production, Work in process, Queuing, Inventory costs, Customer service, Forecasting, Master production scheduling (MPS), Material requirements planning (MRP) and Capacity requirements planning (CRP).
The highest profit we made from this DSS was $859842.

As a student Co-Op I was assigned with the historical data and study the data, do regression analysis of the data and predict the forecasted amount of actual Gas flow into the system.
I studied the enominator data of the peaker flow and tried to present it with our forecasted values for daily meeting.
I am able to increment my knowledge of using excel and other software required in Gas industry like SYNERGI.
I got a good knowledge of SharePoint as I had to use it for many data analysis purpose.
I was a part of a team which is currently designing a new storage system of Gas in Northern Michigan.
