1) Diftah Shis Road & Tunnel Project -Services & MEP Works Stage

2) Shis to Khorfakan Roads and Tunnels – Tunnel SKF-1– Tunnel Construction is in progress

Project Description:

1)Diftah-Shis Road & Tunnel Project is being constructed under the supervision of Halcrow International Partnership and involves construction of approximately 10 kilometer dual carriageway, two separate 1.2 km tunnel by Core and Cutter Methos ‘NATM Technique’, and also 13 culverts & underpass . MEP Works of the Tunnel are in Progress. Project cost is 466 Million Dirhams.

2)Shis to Khorfakan Roads and Tunnels – Tunnel SKF-1 (This project involves construction of 870m twin tunnels by Core and Cutter Methos ‘NATM Technique’, 500m road works in which blasting, rock support measures, shotcrete application,drilling activities, cut and fill are in progress at this stage. Project cost is 120 Million Dirhams.)

4)MEP Works of Tunnel R405 (VO-6)

Responsibilities:

Experience as Technical Civil Engineer

1.Acting as a Technical Civil Engineer for 11 km Road Work, Culverts, 1.3 km R405 twin Tunnels and Tunnel SKF-1

2.Responsible for preparation of Method Statements of works including Drilling, Blasting & excavation, Shotcrete Application, Rock Bolts Installation, Waterproofing, Rock fill Comapction, etc

3.Responsible for preparing Bar Bending Schedules with shop drawings of culverts, under passes, drainage structures, tunnel Structure and drainage manholes.

4.To prepare necessary design calculations for culverts and other drainage structures

5.To calculate the quantum of materials (Rock Dowels, shotcrete, bolts, slabs, Tunnel Form work, etc), material selection as per Work specifications and consult to manufacturers for technical data sheets and method statements.)

6.Responsible for material approval from consultant

7.To make interim payment certificate (IPC) for the project

8.To organize meeting with the desired sub-contractors & suppliers regarding the project work

9.Responsible for making monthly based plans of Tunnel works including Blasting, Drilling, Shotcreting, Road crossings, services, drainage ducts, 6 cross passages construction

10.To supervise the structural and other drainage works with the site engineer and to solve all technical issues related to site after getting approval from consultant

11.To prepare Progress Reports and discussion with consultant on progress of work.

12.To hold progress meetings with consultant on monthly basis

13.Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.

14.Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality.

15.Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements.

16.Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions.

17.To prepare local purchase order and follow up the source by procurement team

18.To develop level 3 planning program for construction of tunnels using Primavera P6.1 and road works and taking approval of program from consultant

19.To create Work Breakdown Structure, assigning resources and leveling of resource allocation

20.To prepare updated program and look ahead program on monthly basis
