ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Mentored MTech project “Versatile Single Photon Detection Module for Quantum Mechanics Measurement”. Used Verilog HDL for programming and implemented in FPGA. Verilog HDL was initially simulated using ModelSim Simulator and using Xilinx ISE simulator it is transferred into FPGA(Virtex 5). The output from TTL(photon detection) was converted to LVDS for FPGA.
Guided BTech project “Unmanned Aerial Vehicle: Quad copter”. Programming for yaw, roll and pitch was done using C language.
Subjects handled are Advances in VLSI Design, Microelectronic Circuits, Network Analysis, Power Electronics and Basic Electrical Engineering
Labs handled are HDL, Power Electronics and Microcontroller. Xilinx ISE simulator was used in HDL lab and implemented in Xilinx 2 and Xilinx 3E kits. Keil µvision4 was used for programming, debugging and simulate the assembly and embedded C programs.P89V51RD2 from Philips was used as emulator.

Design and Implementation of Hardware Bus Monitoring Unit for SoC - To design an efficient Hardware Bus Monitoring Unit (HBMU) for Generic Power Management Unit (GPMU) in SoC. Wastage of power is minimized and efficient use of power source is done. Verilog HDL was used to design the HBMU and implemented in Xilinx 3E FPGA kit

Common Mode Rejection Ratio (CMRR) Meter - CMRR METER is a device which can measure the CMRR of operational amplifiers (op-amps) and display it in decibels (dB). Atmel 8051 microcontroller was used to design the CMRR meter.
