As a seasoned Contracts Manager with 47 years experience in all facets of Government Contracting, from negotiating CPFF, CPIF, CPAF as well as FFP contracts for the U.S. Navy Bureau of Ships (now known as NavSea), to managing the department responsible for the NASA Shuttle onboard and ground data processing contracts for IBM, my extensive experience on both sides of the table brings a unique perspective to the government contracting arena.

I have been a Contracts Consultant since retirement from IBM. During my tenure at IBM, I was an indispensable team member and served in a variety of positions across multiple divisions; including Consulting Marketing Representative, IBM Federal Marketing; Manager, Contracts and Major Subcontracts, IBM FAA/AAS Program; and Subcontract Manager, EH-101 Helicopter, Royal Navy UK, IBM/Federal Systems Division.

During my two year assignment as Manager, Contracts and Major Subcontracts, IBM FAA/AAS Program, my department was responsible for the negotiation and administration of the $4 Billion prime contract with over 300 Amendments and the major subcontracts for hardware and software development in excess of $1 Billion. During my second year 15 major proposals for the FAA were submitted and negotiated.

Earlier assignments included Subcontracts and Procurement Manager for IBM/Federal Systems Division Gaithersburg; Contract Relations Advisor for IBM/ National Federal Marketing; Manager of Contracts and Procurement for IBM/Federal Systems Division Houston, Senior Sales Representative for RCA Defense Electronics Products and Contract Negotiator, GS-13 for the Naval Ship Systems Command.

I hold a BSS Degree in Economics from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York and I have also earned the Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) designation from the National Contract Management Association.

I served four years as a Communications Officer in the USMC.
