Developed/Deployed a high availability scalable middleware solution, Universal Data Interface (UDI), an XML based Web Service. The UDI acted as a data broker for several internally/externally developed applications needing to view or update Mainframe date in real-time. IBM MQ (MQ Series/WebSphere MQ) was utilized for the exchange of information with the UDI.

Collaborated with the Product Team to price the UDI and implemented an automated billing system, which integrated with the accounting systems, to insure all transactions are recorded and all clients interfacing with the UDI are properly billed.

On average the UDI performed over 5 million financial transactions a day or about 60 transactions per second, which brought an additional revenue of at least $50,000 per day.

Rewrote a Banking Customer Service UI, a Fraud Management System, an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System and several other applications/interfaces to leverage the UDI and benefit from its integrated billing and real-time processing capabilities.

Implemented an enterprise level F5 load balanced Disaster Recovery solution where both, the primary (Production) and the secondary (DR) sites, were active (Hot Sites) to ensure business continuity, scalability, high availability and disaster recovery.
