WORK EXPERIENCE:

Director of Operations / Regional Service Manager, Kirk NationaLease, Sidney OH (September 2014 – November 2015). Developed weekly report structure, instilling accountability in twenty-five shops spread over eight states. Daily oversight and leadership for shops in Cincinnati, Louisville, Indianapolis and Seymour, IN. Developed P&L accountability in business migrating from lease and rental market to time and material retail service market.

Service Manager, Mazzella Crane Service, Cincinnati OH (January – June 2014). Responsible for service and inspection of overhead cranes, lifting devices and rigging in Southern Ohio and North-western Kentucky. Developed Service Sales customer database for Cincinnati market, and a training program in Service Sales behavior for anticipated new-hire technicians.

General Manager and Project Manager, Crane & Rig Services, Houston TX (May – November 2013). Developed presentation quality project schedules for clients and prospective clients showing scope and deliverability on crane rebuild and repair projects. Managed day to day shop functions, and coordinated with outside vendors for capabilities not developed in house. Provided planning and parts ordering support for third party contractor rebuilding construction cranes. Coordinated traffic in and out of shop and yard to ensure ensuing steps in projects could proceed in effective and timely manner. Ensured mechanics had tools and procedures available to disassemble, clean, and rebuild assemblies in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

Independent Consultant, Cincinnati, OH (December 2012-April 2013). Pursued leads and developed bids on government solicitations for small businesses.

Director of Training and Development and Senior Service Analyst, Maxim Crane Works, Bridgeville, PA (2011-2012) Responsible for purchase and implementation of new technology in tracking equipment and assets. Responsible for Global Positioning initiatives in a fleet of 1200 cranes, trucks and vehicles, tracking safety, hours of operation, location and activity. Responsible for Radio Frequency Identification Tag implementation, tracking rigging assets and equipment components. Responsible for monthly Service Review, a formal update for the CEO on financial activity in Maxim Service Department.

Operations Manager, Maxim Crane Works, Long Beach (2010) then San Diego, CA (2010-2011). Responsible for conduct of sales, operations and administrative functions, ensuring the safe dispatch and operation of Maxim assets. Supervised dispatch of 60 Cranes in Long Beach and 25 cranes in San Diego, supporting day to day work and major project work for a myriad of customers. Service Manager, Maxim Crane Works, National Crawler Crane Division, Wilder, KY (2009-2010). Responsible for scheduling preventative maintenance and repair of fleet of 180 Crawler Cranes nationwide, ranging in size from 100 to 600 ton capacity. Conducted inspections of assets in the field to determine condition and work required prior to ensuing jobs. Responsible for interaction and follow up with manufacturers in regards to unexpectedly early replacement of critical high dollar parts and all warranty and repair campaigns

Service Manager, Maxim Crane Works, Long Beach, CA (2007 – 2009). Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair service for 142 pieces of equipment in the field and in the shop. Fleet maintenance provided for equipment including hydraulic truck cranes ranging from 35-500 ton capacity, rough terrain cranes ranging from 25-100 tons, 300 ton conventional truck crane, and attendant tractors, trailers and service trucks in their support. Reduced headcount in shop from eleven to seven while still attaining company goals for preventative maintenance and periodic inspection compliance as well as meeting DOT and OSHA standards..

Maintenance Manager, Anthony Crane International division of Maxim Crane Works, St. Croix, USVI (2006-2007). Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair service for 600 pieces of equipment in the Hovensa Refinery including hydraulic truck cranes, rough terrain cranes, attendant tractors, trailers and service trucks, compressors, welders, light plants, aerial work platforms and construction equipment in the support of refinery operations.

Process Improvement Consultant / Project Manager, Parisella Vincelli Associates (2000-2006). Responsible for training managers and supervisor in continuous improvement, planning and the execution of work activities in a number of industries and plant settings across the US and Canada, including fuel distribution and production, construction, manufacturing, warehousing, and sales and service. Successfully delivered Return on Investment in projects with Caterpillar at the Peoria, IL foundry, National Fuel Gas, the gas utility in Western New York, and Safeway of Canada at their distribution warehouses in Edmonton, AB and Winnipeg, SK.
