Joined the staff of this telecom vendor as a network engineer to work with Home Location Register (HLR), Mobile Switch Centre Server (MSCS), and Media Gateway (MGW) before earning promotion into a team lead/NOC specialist position with oversight of technicians and engineers tasked with planning and commissioning WCDMA software across the country.

As NETWORK ENGINEER / CORE TEAM LEADER / NOC Specialist

Administered the planning and optimization of equipment for the problem-free execution of projects, taking the lead in calculating the scope and type of equipment required for coverage across eight provinces.

Ensured the minimization of downtime and provided for disaster recovery planning by implementing multiple HLRs and MGWs at each site and in turn allowing automatic recovery in the event of equipment failure.
