I began a 3 month internship in May of 2010 after graduating high school and being enrolled in the screen printing program and graphic design program offered by fresco at IWCC. During the internship I worked hand in hand with the certification team leader at the plant to set up and perfect a detailed standard work and standard operating procedure manual for every position. After my internship I pursued and was awarded the following positions: make ready technician, 206 print and lam assistant positions, Ink technician.

During this time I received certifications for each position and did some of the following duties but not limited to: Aft racking systems, Job set up and tear downs, Drain tanks, PRI parts cleaners, Forklift operation (sitdown, stand up, roll carts, walk behinds), Reformulation of ink formulas, Reading of Standard work, housekeeping and 5s duties. As an ink technician I was required to meet with customers to review new first time runs and get them approved under precise and intricate analysis.

October 2012 - Current

I started working at parker in October of 2012 as a Strip and test operator. My main duties where to take finished reels of hose and strip the mandrel that it was formed around, I would then cut out noticeable defects and then test the hose to its designated psi. If the hose passed inspection I then cut a sample and tagged it with proper quality inspection tags.

In January 2013 I was awarded a vertical cotton braider position. During this time I ran 6-7 vertical braiding machines including Karg. machines performing proper job set ups and change overs all while maintaining proper housekeeping and 5s duties.

In July of 2013 I was awarded a horizontal wire braider position. During this time I ran 5-6 either 225 style or RB style wire braiders. I performed set up, tear downs, change overs, 5s cleaning, proper stocking techniques (FIFO and lean),

In April of 2014 I was awarded a Quality Technician/ Ware house operator position. During this time I was responsible and performed set up checks throughout the plant on all types of different machines, collected and tested several types of samples under different means including but not limited to: O.D. checks, I.D checks, burst movement checks, cover checks, ect. Maintained several different filing and assortment tasks. I used a sit down forklift to collect finished good pallets and then placed them in a racking system using computers and scanners to properly update all pallet information. I then wrapped, labeled, and placed pallets for shipping in warehouse. I also trained the employee who received the position after me.

In January of 2015 I was awarded a wire winder position. During this time some of my duties where but not limited to: stocking materials, performed set ups, change overs, tear downs, trained employees, maintained proper 5s and housekeeping duties, operated forklifts, ect.
