Professional Experience

Energy Management Resources, Senior Account Director 2004-2016

EMR is a privately-owned independent energy management services firm specializing in managing the energy requirements of industrial and large commercial clients and serves the client as their energy supply department and energy advisor. Key points of the position included:

Worked with multiple-location national accounts throughout the US as their trusted advisor in developing and implementing natural gas and electric supply strategies

Prepared and presented proposals to client’s corporate management and or plant personnel showing commodity savings and recommended total energy management services based on an analysis of current cost and utility tariffs and charges

Implemented and managed the procurement and delivery process to each facility resulting in substantial dollars in cost avoidance or direct savings. Conducted periodic review sessions with clients of the project management success.

Reviewed and renegotiated in-place supplier contracts and utility agreements.

The majority of my business career has been associated with the energy industry. In addition to the energy management advisor/consultant role I have also worked for public utilities in various positions, and involving direct supervision of employees.
