Performance analysis and synthesis of On-line Error Detection and BIST for the AES Encryption Algorithm with Different S-Box Implementations

In this project it is experimentally investigate the efficiency of concurrent checking for the AES encryption algorithm (Rijndael) by parity modification. Also I propose a simple new BIST method. For BIST the implementation of the AES algorithm itself is used as well as a pseudo-random test input generator and a comparator of the test results. For a special implementation of the S-boxes all errors within the data path of the AES algorithm due to single stuck-at faults are immediately detected.

This project helps to locate and diagnose the problems in the railway track in order to improve the overall performance of the trains. The model accident avoiding system is fixed in the locomotive. It allots the train operator of any potential trouble spots by sounding an audible beeper and simultaneously the output is shown in LCD display.

Slip is the difference between synchronous speed and motor speed. In slip ring induction motor, if the slip is present it is available as voltage in rotor side. This voltage, which is collected from the rotor, is converted into DC by rectifier circuit. This rectified energy is utilized for battery charging. This again is inverted and used for other purposes.

This project was awarded first prize at state level Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE) project evaluation program.

This project is aimed at helping industries reducing the deployment of manpower in a relatively less significant works. It contains two stepper motors, one for feeding wire to the machine and the other to cut the wire at equal lengths for required numbers.

This project was awarded first prize at National Level Technical Symposium at Adhiyaman Engineering College, Hosur.
