Description:

Cloverleaf is an ongoing project which involves complete systems migration. The client is migrating from LeasePak business systems to FIS system. The purpose of the Cloverleaf reporting project is to provide business solutions to finance users through SAP BI. The reporting project involves both administration and development tasks which involved deployment of SAP BusinessObjects 4.1 suite, migrating current reports from SAP BO enterprise 3.1 to SAP BI 4.1 version and creation of new Web Intelligence reports, Dashboards, Visualization reports through Lumira in SAP BusinessObjects 4.1. Several universes are created for different applications and reports are built on them.

A SAP BusinessObjects reporting solution in SAP BusinessObjects BI4.1 is created for the client who wanted a single stop solution to create and view reports from various business systems. The project involved creation of a universe using the Information Design Tool (IDT) tool, from multiple oracle database systems from different business domains. The project also involved creation of stand-alone Web-Intelligence (WebI) reports using BI launch pad and Rich Client tools and dashboards using Tableau desktop. These reports are then scheduled to run monthly and delivered as excel reports to multiple users via. Email and to BI inboxes.

The client company acquired a company and there was a need to merge its EDW into Vantiv EDW and the users wanted a reporting solution to extract merged information through reports. The users should be able to pull data through ad-hoc requests. Also few Web-Intelligence (WebI) reports and crystal reports are created which were used by user’s on-demand.

Description

This is a SAP BusinessObjects migration project where the BO content (reports, universes, users, schedules etc) from 25 applications are converted from XI3.1 to BI4.0 version using tools like RCT and UDT. The converted content is tested in various stages by the users for validity and finally moved to Production which is in BI4.0 platform.

Responsibilities

Interacted with Business Users and Business Analysts to gather the Requirements and worked on consolidating report information for multiple applications.
