Work Experience

Operations Supervisor - October 2012 – present KinderMorgan, So. St. Paul, Minnesota Responsible for warehouse management, offloading and loading of barge commodities including fertilizers (MAP, DAP, Urea and AMS; salt and cement, other specialty bulk products, steel plate, coils and rebar) and rail commodities including feed products, rebar, cement and frac sand. Maintain EHS standards. Write site specific, dual verifycation and JHA’s (job hazardous analysis.) Implemented equipment installation and monitored installations as well as “hands on” work installing large industrial equipment. Wrote and executed preventive maintenance plan; supervised staff compliance with maintenance program. Evaluated processes for efficiency and cost effectiveness; made recommendations for improved operations. Wrote safety observations (SOS’s), risk assessments (RA’s), and job safety analysis (JSA’s). Lead Terminal Operator Jan 1998 – Oct 2008 Holcim US Inc. Installed new along with restructuring of existing equipment for (high and low pressure boilers, cooling systems for air compressors and modifications to dust collection systems) to meet current safety and production standards.
