Producing the technical parts of tenders for the repair of Storage Tanks both fixed roof and floating roof tanks, carrying out the inspection to ascertain the scope of work and prepare a B.O.M. for the work value of contract US$ 5 million. Preparing a diesel tank farm layout with all pipework and metering facilities, preparing the cost estimate and a justification report for the increase to the budget. Maintaining a record of all new projects being proposed or carried out on the Island that involved any sort of pipework i.e. a new fire main round the air strip, its location agreed by both parties, a new fresh water tank for the upgraded contractors camp, determining the location of all underground pipe work either in use or redundant.

Design of a moving system for rig manufacture and fit out. Design of a lifting system for electrodes into a lathe for dressing for reuse in a steel furnace. Revamp and change of use of a dangerous chemical plant to one of less hazardous use, marking out and listing the work required for the removal and replacement of pipework. Pipe support design for a power station, all sketches and B.O.M required.

Sent to site to design and change drawings to As-Built status, design site changes as required by client.

Put together a manual of spare parts for all items of equipment from filters, valves, pumps, turbines vessels, tanks etc. and creating a list of spares.

Inspection of erected pipework and make ready for testing and flushing, preparing of test pack for presentation to client for acceptance. Visiting manufactures to inspect and expedite orders i.e. valves and fittings mainly.
