Relative Experience
Reservoir Engineering and Geology
Utilized CMG to model complex, heterogeneous, oil and gas reservoirs to achieve the most reliable predictions and forecast. Utilized it for advanced modelling of recovery processed involving injection of water, steam, gases, and chemicals.
Used Petra in mapping of reservoir properties, production analysis such decline curve analysis, computation of EUR and creation of bid value maps, well logs analysis in calculation of reservoir properties and creation of cross sections.
Utilized Petrel in interpreting seismic data: reservoir modelling, 2D and 3D, and locating all major geological features, insight in reservoir performance by aiding in understanding of fluid flow and recovery.
Utilized several equipment; FTIR, NMR and Coretest AP608, in lab to investigate the properties of core sample.
Worked with four other students in analyzing and interpreting lab data and writing comprehensive lab report.
Used Nano-indentation to determine the mechanical properties of rock to organic content and porosity.
Determined flow regimes and effective porosity in reservoir rock by Mercury Injection capillary pressure and comparing data at different depths.
Drilling and completions
Manager in Drilling and Completion II project where we designed a well casing. As the manager I ensured that the team stayed up-to-date with the projects objectives, mediated any interpersonal issues and supervised the team members.
Utilized several equipment; rotational viscometer, Marsh funnel viscometer, Ofite filter press, mud mixer and Mud Retort to determine the rheology properties, filtration loss properties and material content of drilling fluids.
Prepared lab reports in conjunction with four other students after analyzing and interpreting lab data.
Senior Capstone Project: Merger Acquisition
Collaborated with three other student in determining an aerial bid value map of the Austin chalk in Burleson County, Texas.
Reservoir Engineer and Geologist for this project: researched on the geology of area of interest: depositional environment, thermal maturity, and major features. Used well log in determining the reservoir properties.
Additional skills
Proficient with core Microsoft office programs (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Fluent in English and Swahili.
