Cloud Invent (www.cloud-invent.com) is a start-up company that invented technology that significantly improves performance of the geometric constraint solver – the core component of modern Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems.

As software designer, I focused on the performance issues of company technology, especially multithreaded approach since the algorithm is ideal for parallelization. Proposed and prototyped parallel solver implementation on a GPU using NVidia CUDA, C++ and CUDA Thrust toolkit. Effective interoperability with MS Windows DLLs implemented using .NET, C# also carefully tuned.

As a startup company team member participation in various technology-related negotiations with potential partners, investors and customers, prepared design proposals and presentations.

Also participated in IT infrastructure planning and setup, including configuring such AWS resources as AMI, S3 and other; also GitHub related setup.

ClickMDLab.com was the subsidiary of the Grammic Lab that offered deeply discounted medical laboratory test packages as an online web solution. It was an e-commerce portal, offered more than 200 different test packages.

I was responsible for design, set-up and support of the e-commerce portal, based on Magento platform. As part of responsibilities, I've created the IT infrastructure using Amazon AWS resources such as Amazon Linux AMI with the LAMP stack with dedicated IP and S3. VMWare Experience.

Also, I performed daily portal management and customer support tasks and ensured SEO-friendly characteristics of the content. Also, I organized and managed online marketing campaigns to improve organic SEO ranking. Google AdWords, Article Marketing, content optimization, various PPC engines.

As Senior Software Engineer and Development Leader participated in following projects: eTrust Access

Control (host based IDS) – kernel components. Kernel API hooking. C, Intel 32 assembler, Microsoft

Windows DDK, WinDbg, Windows Debugging Tools. eTrust Audit - architected and designed various tools for post-factum log file analysis. Product development was against Microsoft and Linux operating systems, used cross platform toolkits for multi-platform application development.

Translation of multiple log file formats into unified XML-based form including grammar definitions for various legacy log file formats to create Abstract Syntax Tree for each format; parser generation for specific tree and processing files by corresponding parsers with following XSLT translation into target XML. Software/technologies used - Java, AntLR, and XSLT.

1996 – 1999

As a team leader coordinated work of 2 experienced software engineers. The team was responsibility for the development high performance network kernel device drivers for MS Windows.

Designed and developed Object-Oriented kernel modules, proving concept that a kernel driver can be implemented as Object Oriented project (C++) with application of STL. Implemented on the kernel level technology for breaking up a TCP session, developed by the company. Participated in the development of the core set of Abirnet SessionWall (became CA eTrust Intrusion Detection, http://supportconnectw.ca.com/public/etrust/etrust_intrusion/etrustintrusion_supp.asp ) protocol parsers such as SMTP, TCP and HTML. As research engineer was focused on signature-based misuse detection and as-automatic-as-possible network security tuning.

R&D in area of advanced TCPIP – related technologies. Developed prototypes: Wedge for Microsoft network stack (TCPIP was primary goal) for different clones of Microsoft Windows OS available at that time - 9x and NT 4.0. The technology was integrated into company’s Chameleon suit of products and served as base for various extensions: QoS, Firewall and Encryption that helped the company to provide cutting-edge networking technologies of the time to the customers.
