Smart Sensor:

Leading the team for enabling Talend for Smart Sensor which is one of Amex key platforms for sending various alerts to clients. This is one of few projects which are being moved to Big Data and we are using Talend with Big Data to move the process to new platform from Ab-Initio.

CIW Redesign:

Led the team of 4 developers to re-design the report posting mechanism for Global Corporate Cards of Amex. Current process have many limitations including limit on file processing, LIFO system, hops between various servers, no tracking mechanism, no restart ability feature which caused delay from few hours to several days.

Responsibilities:

80% time improvement in posting in best case scenario Enable parallel mechanism of posting of reports Designed new tracking mechanism to find status of report which reduced maintenance cost and easy tracking of reports.

Understand the complete flow and found various gaps in current system Designed the new flow for faster creation of reports and posting. Removed complex logics and built more stable and simple code logics.

The various legacy systems will be moved to Globe star system, a new age system with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

Participated in all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including working closely with the business analysts and software development teams to ensure a clear understanding of the ETL requirements.

Worked closely with customers to gather requirements and was responsible for creating the source requirement specification, Technical design document and mapping document.

It involves creating hierarchy information for those accounts and load profile and transactions data to various tables which would be used by downstream applications to create reports.
