Project Manager/Purchasing Manager/Estimator/Buyer

Responsible for Product development, Estimating, Purchasing for

Menu Boards and Permanent POP displays directed towards the restaurant industry. Started as Project Manager and after the loss of Purchasing Manager I stepped up and took on Purchasing duties as well.

Operations Manager / Assistant Plant Manager

Responsible for converting operation in manufacturing of Point of

Purchase Displays and Custom Packaging. I manage the daily operations of all Manufacturing departments, with focus on efficiency and production of quality products to meet Customer expectations. Work directly with Plant Manager to schedule personnel and equipment.

I also Contract with outside vendors to provide manufacturing services and materials.

Some of my accomplishments in this position:

Re-engineered the Material Handling process to improve workflow. Replaced Propane Fork Trucks with Electric models resulting in savings annually of over $10,000 in fuel costs.

Developed Manufacturing processes to provide accurate accountings of production counts and improve quality through process of approvals.

Developed accountability processes for machine operators to monitor quality.

Before I took position the Company had consecutive years with manufacturing errors ranging from $60,000 to $80,000. Last year Manufacturing errors were under $6,000. Directly attributed to implementation and process control.

Recently took on responsibility of Plant Safety in regards to OSHA regulations.

Baird Display -

Estimator / Project Manager

Responsible for estimating projects consisting of print, corrugated board, converting process (mounting /die cutting), and handwork assembly with multiple components required for Point of Purchase displays. If project becomes live I then managed all aspects of production including purchasing of components and any outside services needed.

I was promoted to Operations Manager after approx. 1 year of Estimating.

This position is responsible for planning and calculating project costs and producing cost estimates for Large Format sheet fed and digital printing jobs. I had also taken on the responsibility of Production Scheduler for daily manufacturing operations.

I was Responsible for Supervising and Coordinating workflow throughout the union manufacturing operation, allowing for optimum efficiency, quality, and completion of projects.
