Provide cohesive interface with Owners, Engineers, and project team.

Assist Construction Superintendents, Welding Engineer/QA Advisor, Coating QA Advisor and Field Construction Manager in all field construction related issues as requested.
Provide leadership to the contractor’s Quality Control staff. Materials:
Perform inspection on construction materials and consumables.
Verify that construction materials and consumables conform to construction specification and requirements.
Review MTR Mill Test Report for construction materials.
Develop inventory for construction material.
Develop and maintain material tracker for issuing construction material from storage warehouse as per job order.
Ensure heat numbers are transferred to P.O.P/Piece Of Pipe for traceability.
Ensure exotic materials (S/S, DUPLEX, SUPER DUPLEX) are separated from materials and work activities which may contaminate them.
Ensure proper material storage and handling from contamination and damage. Fabrication & Welding:
Ensure compliance of welding parameters as per approved WPQR/WPS, codes and project specification. (API 1104/653, ASME B 31.3, AWS D1.1)
Qualifying of WPQR /WPS
Witness Welders’ Performance Qualification.
Perform inspections on weldment to determine if a meets the acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard as per contract document (SOW)..
Supervise welding of pipe spools,
Monitor pre and post weld heating treatment.
Monitor bake out of pipe sections to be welded.
Monitor and supervise fabrication and welding of Condensate Tanks, Piping, and recovery work on Fire Water Tank.
Monitor and supervise fabrication and welding of Duplex S/S piping.
Monitor and supervise structural and pipe welding for Steam Methane Reformer
(SMR)
NDE:
Ensure that all approved NDE procedures are adhered to.
Monitor and coordinate NDE on finish welds.
Review NDE results for finish welds.
Monitor and supervise NDE being performed on refinery equipment and piping.
Conduct NDE on finish welds (VT, PT & MT)
Co-ordinate NDE inspection on site welding. (UT, PT, RT,MT) Hydrostatic testing:

Coating and Painting:
Ensure that contractor adheres to all approved NACE SSPC-SP and SSPC-PA requirements.
Monitor sand blasting and coating of all equipment to be installed.
Monitor and witness Holiday Detection and coating repairs on FBE coated piping for underground piping. (Shrink Sleeve and Patch stick, etc Civil:
Monitor and supervise site preparation and excavation for foundation.
Monitor erection for form work.
Monitor installation of rebar for concrete pour.
Perform checks on compliance of ready mix concrete delivery, pour cards and slump test.
Monitor orgaring for concrete piles.
Monitor clearing and restoration of ROW (Right Of Way)
Monitor excavation of trenches.
Monitor HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling)
Monitor back filling of trenches after laying 56” pipeline.
Monitor and supervise restoration of roadways damage from construction road crossings.
