DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform quality related inspection as determined by the Inspection Test Plan and develop reports.

Inspections to include:

Welding Inspection. (Before Welding, During Welding, After Welding and During Repairs.)

Fit-up Inspection

Dimensional Inspection

Inspect and assure welder operator use correct materials for specified work and that their work meets tolerances, specifications and drawings.

Inspect welder operator performance with respect to visual integrity and quality of weld in accordance with various welding procedures, codes, standards and specifications.

Generate non-conformance report for every specific item that does not comply to the specification or with the fabrication plan. Analyze process errors so that appropriate and practical solutions are recommended.
