(EXPERIENCE. SUPERVISOR, MECHANIC OF C-130 AIRCRAFT ENGINE MAINTENNANCE, REPAIR AND OVERHAUL (FROM JUNE, 1998 TO MAY, 2005),PAKISTAN AIR FORCE BASE CHAKLALA / NUR KHAN}

1. After the successful completion of my Basic training and DAE as Aeronautical Associate Engineer in Aero Engine technology (February, 1996 to June, 1998), I have vast and diversified experience in maintenance, repair and ground handling/ servicing operation of C-130 aircraft as Engine Mechanic, Supervisor/Team leader. This experience includes maintenance, operation and trouble shooting of C-130 aircraft power plant (T-56-A-15 Turbo propeller Engine), APU and Gas Turbine Compressor (GTC) on Flight Line (Organization level maintenance) and in shop (intermediate level maintenance). I have also been working on T-56-A-15 engine test cell, C-130 aircraft Periodic Maintenance Flight (Phase Inspections) and Propeller 54H60-91 maintenance for 07 years accumulatively. I had also been on C-130 aircraft as Crew Chief for one year (Ground handling and servicing of C-130 aircraft, duties of Line chief and Crew chief on ground and inflight).

2. I have been working in Quality Assurance squadron PAF Base Faisal Karachi, as a Flight safety/ Quality Inspector for 3 years and 3 months. My responsibilities as a Safety/Quality inspector were as follows:-

a. C-130 (B, E & L382B), Alluvit III, Musshak/Supper Musshak, MI 171 aircrafts maintenance and operation Quality Assurance/safety Inspector.

b. Ground safety Inspector

c. Fire safety and audit Inspector.

d. Aircraft maintenance and technical documents audit.

e. Aircraft ground servicing/ handling supervision as Quality and Safety Inspector.

f. Aircraft Maintenance Hangars facilities inspection and audit.

g. Military aircraft tarmac traffic flow inspection as safety inspector.

h. FOD prevention activities audit on tarmac.

I was responsible for servicing/Ground handling of C-130 aircrafts and performing calendar inspections, management of manpower and equipment required for maintenance and safe conduct of( receipt and dispatch) Flights. I have also performed flying duties of crew chief on C130 aircrafts.

4. I have retired from Pakistan Air Force in March, 2016. I have dedicated experience as Independent Flight Engineer (flying CAT B) on C-130 aircraft (B, E and L382B models) with 1600:55 total successful flying hours including flying training on C-130 aircraft ”H” model full flight simulator. I have also sound operating knowledge of Rock Well modified LCD flight station (Flight Management System FMS and Engine Instrument Display System EIDS ). I have also completed 52:50 flying hours on CN-235 as CM-III (student Flight Engineer). I got Flight Engineer training from Transport Conversion School, PAF which also includes C-130 aircraft full flight H model simulator training at PAF Base Nur Khan/Chaklala.
