PROJECT DETAILS 1:

Title:

Project on children tracking based on android mobile terminals.

Aim:

This project is designed to be used by parents and aimed to help locating missing or lost child. It takes advantage of fact that today’s 80% of population, including children around age of 8-10 owns smart phone. So there is wide use of this project for parents and children.

Role:

Research and Development and Eclipse for programming.

Description:

Tracking the location of a child on Mobile by SMS. The proposed system includes a child module and receiver modules for getting the information about the missed child on periodical basis. The child module includes an android handset and the receiver module includes Android mobile device in parent’s hand. Whenever the child goes out of a predefined range/distance immediately an SMS is sent on parent’s handset which includes the latitude and longitude through which the exact location can be find out using Google map. Finally, implementation results for the proposed system are provided in this project.
