I am currently working in Phoenix as a Structural Project Manager and am seeking new opportunities. My work experience includes over 15 years in civil engineering, structural engineering, construction engineering, and project management for various industries including utilities, cellular, and the oil and gas sector. I am a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and have a Masters degree in Structural Engineering (MCE). I also have a Project Management Professional designation (PMP).

I have a breadth of experience designing steel structures for electrical substations, oil and gas, and cellular towers as well as designing skid-mount buildings and concrete reinforcement. I have also designed foundations including helical piles and caissons. My civil experience includes site grading, containment and drainage, as well as heavy earthworks for mining facilities.

As a Project Manager, I lead crews and project teams considering controlled costs, schedule, and quality, as per the Gated Lifecycle. I had direct involvement sourcing and managing contractors and subcontractors, performing community consultations, procuring materials, performing engineering designs, and helping oversee construction activities.

I have ample experience working with construction operations from my experiences in field engineering and as a design engineer. My strong leadership and communication skills coupled with my ability to effectively collaborate with operations has made me a natural liaison between construction and engineering on multiple occasions. This was for both my own projects, as well as other engineers not as comfortable communicating with operations. In my role as Structural Project Manager, I work closely with operations to guide activities in the field and to provide formal leadership including performance management. I feel my proven skills and abilities definitely compliment this position.
