They had planned to use Siebel Pricing, Quote & Order facilities for all their future quotes for SR’s & Opportunities and also implement Campaign Management for Marketing module. It is complex project with lot of constrains, requirements and limitations of HPS pricing policies.

Implemented major Pricing & Order management module for Honeywell HPS.

Analyzed the current Siebel application of Honeywell and suggested feasible solution for client.

Led Honeywell’s Products and Pricing development team in upgrading their products and pricing module from Siebel 7.5 to Siebel 7.8. Re-implemented the custom pricing logic into the new Siebel Pricing (PSP) engine and configured the out of the box pricing modules to incorporate multiple price types for a single product.

Configured Product configuration, Pricing model to meet client requirements.

Description

This is an integration project of Siebel 7.5 with third party like Norad. The project involves of Siebel application integration with external application called Norad. GE VFS division used to finance funds for vehicles purchase and there used to be default accounts, called as “Delinquent Accounts” and there are special collectors to follow-up and collects the payments. Till date, the total details of delinquent accounts is handled by a Front-End application called Norad and assignment of delinquent accounts used to be manual. GE has decided to integrate Siebel with Norad since their Siebel application contains all the data of account schedules and assignments can be automized. That means Siebel will act as Backend for Norad.

Project Tasks & Responsibilities:

Description

This is a Challenging integration project of integration of Siebel 7.5 with third party like EVal. The project involves of Siebel application integration with external application called EVal. GE uses the services of third party Asset evaluation called EVal for assessing the assets of their clients. As the EVal team needs the total details of a proposal and wants to store the EVal reports/comments, GE has decided to integrate Siebel with EVal since their Siebel application contains all the data. This was challenging project as Seibel is not used for UI instead it is used as back end.

Preparation of total solution for this project, total planning & designing of the total application, Preparation of HLDL, LLDL & test plans & Process and Maintenance docs etc., developed the required DLL/business service to fetch data, to covert the file to normal format from bin base 64 format etc. Defining the Workflow Definition, rules and actions, setting up Visibility rules, Configured separate Queue Manager and Queues for this purpose in MQ and auto triggering facility when ever an XML string is placed in MQ.
