Title: A study on Financial Performance of selected public and private sector banks

Duration: 3 months

The study analyses the financial performance of public and private sector banks. Variables considered for this project are ratios, assets, equities and growth of various banks (SBI, BOB, PNB, Syndicate, Union, Canara, Axis, HDFC, ICICI, YES, Federal, IndusInd). Convenient sampling technique is used to find the results. Concludes that the financial performance of public sector banks is better than the private sector banks. Study suggested that public sector banks should make some arrangements to keep their performance better.
