Functions as technician, electrician, and mechanic in capacities including :

oSubmitting reports to management, on:

Equipment malfunctions, daily equipment use for production and, emergency work order requests made by production.

oTroubleshoots and upgrades: industrial equipment in the plant for both electrical and mechanical issues.

oContinuous improvement of maintenance procedures. Using failure analysis to write up new instructions and preventative maintenance procedures for use of the maintenance and production departments.

oMaintains communication between day and night shifts for new procedures and project objectives.

oResponsible for, writing, processing, and closing all work orders for the downstream group.

oMulti-tasks with team members to resolve many problems occurring simultaneously with production equipment while it is online.

oOn call 7 days a week: to assist night shifts with any problems they are unable to solve independently.

Senior Design Project:

Overall project was to design an inexpensive single use device to decrease surgery time by allowing for a faster polymerization time of bone cement during a total or partial knee replacement surgery.

I worked in a small group through the design process from idea conception to a working prototype.

Collaborated with medical and engineering professionals to finance, produce, and approve our design.
