Supply Chain Manager Aug. 2014-Dec. 2015

Responsible for all procurement, warehousing, inventory control, quality, assembly and distribution of Trican designed completion tools for the oil industry. Reduced inventory levels by 30%, reduced recordable incident rate from 13 to 0. Reduced operating expense by 25%. Maintained a 100% on time delivery. Implemented numerous cost cutting projects. Energy Alloys Houston, TX

Director of Operations Sept. 2012-July 2014

Responsible for all operations at the Houston Service Center which is Energy Alloys largest processing and distribution location of tubular products for the oil industry. Decreased operating cost by 20% and maintained a high level of on time delivery. Implemented an aggressive approach to clear past due orderbook and aging work in process.

Responsible for all operations at the Conroe facility which includes deep hole boring, honing, straightening, sawing, continuous heat treating, mechanical laboratory, ultrasonic inspection and shipping and receiving. Set up organization, procedures, and initiated the API Q1 certification.

Accountable for the overall operations of the manufacturing facility which includes interaction with corporate headquarters, customer service, warehousing, accounting, purchasing, safety, quality control, manufacturing and engineering. Responsible for developing operating cost budgets and product costing annually. Houma manufacturing employs approximately 375 individuals and ships $110 million plus in finished goods annually. Led a $50 million greenfield site expansion. Continuously controlled product and operating cost.

Operations Manager

Responsible for the entire manufacturing operations of cementation products as well as manufacturing engineering and maintenance. Operations included welding, machining, press operations, assembly and painting. Promoted and implemented a high level of teamwork through cross functional workgroups. The goal was to reduce cost, improve safety performance, and drive quality to the source.

Manufacturing Engineering Manager

In charge of all manufacturing related projects within the facility including maintenance. Projects included manufacturing methods and facility improvements for cost reductions and capacity increases. Continuous improvement was the perpetual goal.

Senior Design Engineer

Design engineer for primary cementation equipment which included centralizers, float equipment and stage tools. Implemented numerous automation projects on manufacturing equipment. This involved designing, programming and the implementation of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.

Designed PLC based control systems for various types of machinery and process control applications. Duties included system design, software development, construction supervision and installation.

Design Engineer

Design Engineer for pedestal type hydraulic cranes used primarily on offshore platforms. Duties involved responsibility of complete design, structure and drive system. Completely familiar with API Spec 2C, ABS rules for cargo handling gear and AISC.

Design Engineer for deck machinery. Machinery included anchor winches, towing winches and mooring winches with either diesel, electric or hydraulic drives. Extensive knowledge of hydraulic drive, control systems, and diesel drive systems.

Design Engineer for pressure vessels. The pressure vessels primarily included tanks for handling bulk cement and barite for the drilling industry that uses compressed air for transferring the material. Very familiar with ASME Section VIII Division 2, Unfired Pressure Vessels.

On several occasions have acted as Project Engineer in all of the above areas. Developed excellent working relationship with shop personnel.
