PROJECR WORK

•FINAL YEAR PROJECT (May 2014)

Project is based on the A-TIG Welding (On-Sem project).,

In A TIG Welding, we used Stainless steel -304 for welding. After A-Tig is done, we made the specimen to cut in 8 parts and cleared the bur and edges. After the etching process also analysed the Microstructure, Macrostructure, Corrosion test, and Hardness of Stainless Steel.

Project on blast furnace Studied the concepts of blast furnace, laddle,

granular slag and finally how molten metal transforms to steel and iron.

•HINDUJA FOUNDRIES Brother Concern of ASHOK LEYLAND PVT.LTD.

Implant training on Foundry section of the company.

Studied the concepts of foundry and learned how the molten metal pours in

the core and finally how the pitting process done.

•FLUID THERM PVT.LTD., ( Dec 2012)

Project on Nitro-carburizing of alloy steel and mild steel.,

The specimen of alloy steel and mild steel by using the FLUIDISIED BED FURNACE we induce the gases like oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen with different composition. Then etching, Polishing, Punching and Moulding the specimen and finally analyse the microstructure of the each single specimen.
