General Field Engineer/Engineer-In-Charge for Remote Projects in West and Central Africa

I achieved a 27% cost reduction in running remote projects (compared to similar project executed the previous year) through clear definition of client’s objective, adequate project planning, avoidance of multiple mobilizations and 100% utilization of allocated resources.

My team achieved an average efficiency of 95% on assigned deep-water projects with zero HSE incidents. This was achieved through a progressive and active implementation of proactive maintenance programs for all tools and equipment used for the project. The maintenance history of the equipment were archived and tracked through the company’s web based tools history web site.

I led efforts in maintaining field trainings, compliances and certifications for all field personnel in my location.

I manage work request from clients and assigned work order to team members in the process supervising execution of the work order and related communications with the client to ensure a satisfactory results.

On completion of my bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, I started my career in Schlumberger with the Drilling and Measurement segment in Nigeria before moving to Reservoir Evaluation and Production Services segments. I have worked for almost nine years in the oil and gas industry with 4 years in Nigeria.
