Responsibilities

I receive in all inbound loads, check in material against packing slip, and scan into inventory management system. Then pick the material when orders are placed. Box up all material versus the pick ticket. Print labels and ship material in a timely manner.

I have really got our numbers better in all categories. We are getting them materials received in and shipped in a much timely manner since I have started to work here. Skills Used

SAP and IWM are used to manage inventory. We use computers and Microsoft surface hand held devices on a daily basis. Cycle counts, forklift used daily, and also work with a lot of different machines and fab equipment in our plant.

Dealt with customers with problems in rental settings. When our condos have any type issues we as maintenance techs were dispatched to go and interact directly with the customers and fix the problems in a timely manner and perform any up keep maintenance on the condos year round. The normal customers were at least unhappy so this was another aspect of the job which would be diffusing the situation the best way possible. Also scanned in all material with rf scan guns and located it with MB base system and pulled all inventory and done checks via ISO system. Worked hand in hand with the quality department to make sure all parts were up to par with all specs and regulations.

Hired in as a operator and within six months of hard work, dedication, and many long days I made supervisor. This was my goal upon hiring in with the company and I achieved in a very fast time. Skills Used

Maintained and kept the power grid for various areas up and running. This could be anything from reconductor, new line, or storm work. Whichever we were doing we had to be very dedicated to the job since you only get one mishap. This was difficult to do sometimes being gone for long periods working storms and seeing all the devastation but knowing you are helping people that their lives have been destroyed makes you set goals and achieve them.

Accomplishments

I made operator then apprentice lineman in very quick order due in sole part to the determination and goals I set for myself. I believe goals are something a person should always set high. Skills Used

Worked a lot with my hand tools framing and setting poles. Also worked hot primary with the proper PPE, such as rubber gloves, sleeves, hard hat and safety glasses. EDUCATION
