Ability to Supervise Multiple Staff

Throughout my career, I have been assigned to monitor and provide personnel management to large groups of employees. When I served as a Senior Personnel Manager in the U. S. Army, I was assigned to be responsible for a division of over 20,000 personnel to monitor their strengths and assist them in meeting long-term resource requirements. More than 2,600 employees were assigned to me when I was in Iraq. I was tasked to coordinate the training academy and create operational procedures. As a Human Resources Project Team Leader in Germany, I managed, mentored and guided a team of more than 700 members for them to reach their full potential.

Ability to Complete Difficult Tasks

It is an honor and a challenge for me to be trusted in performing difficult tasks for the organization I worked for. As a Senior Personnel Manager in the U. S. Army in Germany, I was assigned to create a critical analysis to senior leadership and provide resource requirements needed by more than 20,000 personnel assigned under my responsibility. During my term as a Senior Operations Manager in U. S. Army in Iraq, I develop operational procedures as well as complex personnel database for the training academy.

Ability to Train and Orient

As a Senior Personnel Manager, I facilitated training programs for over 150 personnel in the U. S. Army in Germany. When I served the U. S. Army in Iraq, I was even assigned to develop new hire training program. Recently in Big Spring (TX) Correctional Center, I streamlined the orientation program that obtained positive results, including less paperwork shuffling and more information received by new hires. I take pride in the success of the training and orientation I conducted, especially when the team I mentored received top rating on organizational inspection when I was in Oklahoma as a Senior Personnel Advisor of the U. S. Army.

Extensive Experience in Recruitment

The recruiting plan that I developed and maintained is one of my achievements in Big Spring (TX) Correctional Center. It successfully resulted to increased staffing levels (above 95%) on the area where there is low unemployment rate. Directing an application process to select the best applicants while ensuring that all government regulations are followed has become one of my responsibilities. As an essential point of contact for appeals and unemployment claims, I have acquired different skills as well. To maintain the quality during the recruitment process, I have monitored other interview boards, in addition to the interview that I conduct to the same prospective employee. Conducting a comprehensive background check for employees and applicants could ensure the recruitment quality as well.
