Working for CTEC Corp. Constructed a power plant with two LM600 GE turbines for a total of 100MW. Worked on screening and interviewing the contractors to pick the best for the job. Coordinating with all the contractors to keep the schedule up to date. Integrated with engineering team on the design and the quickest way to do the project, keeping up with the prints. Making sure all contractors kept up with the paper work and documentation. After construction is done, worked with the commissioning team starting up gas plant, water plant, and turbines. Maintained a safe site; no lost time accidents and no injuries. Installed pumps and oversaw flushing of all water and fuel lines.

Duke Energy - IGCC Project Edwardsport Indiana

Contract Coordinator 6/2011 - 12/22/2011

Worked with Duke Energy Management team to build a Coal Gasification plant that is going to be used to run two GE frame 6FB turbines with HRSG units producing 640 MW. Worked as a contract coordinator for the power island. Cared for the transformers, wiring of all pumps and equipment, and heat trace. Worked with both the electrical team and the I & E section. Coordinated first the wiring of the power island, and then worked with the heat tracing for the power plant,

making sure the right heat trace was installed and on the right pipe. Coordinated which pipe gets heat installation first according to start up plans and systems.

Working as a construction consultant in building a power plant consisting of 2 GE LM600 with its accessories. Working as a construction consultant on phase 1 on a 550MW project with 3 Siemens 501F A, Phase 1 was installing 3 turbines with its Auxiliaries and setting up for the following phases which will include 3 more units with a combine cycle. Working closely with our client Pacific Rim Energy the Engineering Company in charge of EPC. Overseeing all aspect of the project including the layout of the units and its Auxiliaries.

Assisting with the laying down of the equipment to minimize space and time. Also working with CADAFE Electric the owners of the plant. Flushing of all lines.

Dowans Umbango Power Plant 9/2006-2/2007

Installation of four LM 2500 truck mounted units, running on natural gas. The units were installed in two different sites. It was done on an accelerated schedule due to the need of power. Including gas system and sub-station. Project was finish on time plus an addition of phase 2 one LM6000. Overseeing of electrical and mechanical installation of all components.

Power Plant Construction-Power Plant Manager 2003--2006

Was brought in to oversee construction of a power plant consisting of two turbines one LM6000 and one LM2500 with all of its balance of plant- water plant plus gas compressors and cooling system. Stayed to be the plant manager and be in charge of phase two which included two more LM600’s with its balance of plant. Also oversaw the installation of a 3K gas line to feed the power plant working with Ecopetrol Colombian gas company. Oversaw the building of over 26k of high voltage power lines to feed the mine.

The TEAM SYSTEM was in place to incorporate the contractors plus the mine personnel and the schedule of the Project.

El Paso Rio Claro Macae, Brazil

Construction Manager 2001 - 2003

Responsible for managing the concurrent construction activities of up to 3,000 EPC contractors for all phases of this $560,000,000 project. Duties included managing the project schedule, subcontractor schedule, subcontractors adherence to contract specification or applicable construction / installation codes, monitoring of personnel and equipment safety, adherence to project budget, input to revised project budget, and oversight of field engineering changes.

The TEAM SYSTEM was in place as a way to manage this project and work with the schedule of the project. The first phase consisted of 16 LM6000 and the complete balance of plant. Plus 14,000 ton of refrigeration for cooling using Trane chiller units.

The second phase added four more LM6000 and plant switchyard enlargements. Each phase utilized different engineering and construction contractors. Plus 3500 tons of refrigeration for cooling.

Project Site Manager 1998 - 2001

January 2001 to June 2001 - Working with GE Rental on 15 LM2500 on three sites in Phoenix, Tucson and Salt Lake City. Assisted in all aspects of project completion from the initial planning stages with the customer, including transportation of the equipment, construction and commissioning.

2000 to 2001 - Responsible for managing a project in Bolivia that consisted of 2 LM6000. This was a full turnkey project with lots of trouble with customs and transportation. Coordinated and supervised offloading and in-country equipment transportation, processed customs paperwork and followed protocol to ensure timely release by Bolivian officials. The project construction schedule came in ahead of schedule.

Each unit was chilled with two 1500 ton refrigeration chiller units manufacture by Trane.

1999 to 2000 – Responsible for managing a project in Brazil that consisted of four Typhoon units driving gas compressors. Duties included planning, scheduling, estimating, contract negotiations, change orders, project safety, and bottom line cost of construction through turnover. Provided input to original and revised project estimate.

1998 to 1999 – Responsible for managing the installation of one LM6000 with HRSG in Jamestown N.Y. Managed site for general contractor on turnkey construction of natural gas combustion turbines with heat recovery steam generators. Oversaw subcontracts, adherence to specifications and codes, budgets, site personnel, equipment safety, project scheduling, field engineering, approval, and review of change orders.

1998 to 1999 – Managed the completion of a project in Panama under the new GE flag after Stewart & Stevenson sold the Turbine Division to GE. Completed a project in Chile for Endesa Utility Company. Project consisted of 2-LM6000’s chilled with a Fast Track Schedule of 60 days un-chilled. This project was completed on time and under budget. Transferred to Manaus, Brazil to assists in the installation of 2 LM 6000 for El Paso Power. Implemented a recovery plan to put the project back on schedule. Construction was completed ahead of schedule.

The unit had a Trane chiller system in Panama and two 1500 tons unit manufacture by McPherson in Chile

Stewart & Stevenson International US & Latin American Locations

Project Site Manager 1997 - 1998

Project Site Manager on two simple cycle projects in Nicaragua and Panama. The two projects were both scheduled and completed on the “Fast Track” schedule. The project in Nicaragua was completed in 45 days, without chillers and totally completed in 80 days. The project in Panama was completed in 90 days on line and 120 days with 1500 ton chillers by Trane. Both projects were successfully completed on time and under budget.

Stewart & Stevenson International

Project Electrical Superintendent 1996 - 1997

Project Electrical Superintendent on four simple cycle projects for Stewart & Stevenson International. These projects were located in Chile, Argentina and Brazil. The three completed projects have seen success in bringing the construction and operation of the facilities to completion on time and within budget. The units use 1500 ton chiller by Trane for cooling system
